Week Six: DO NOT GIVE UP

12/02/2024

This week I have had many ups and downs with my weight, which resulted in no loss or gain this week.

I started that week at 107.4kg at my lowest this week I was 106.3kg, but today I was back up at 107.4kg. Not a good week in the scheme of progress, but since the first of January i am down 5.3kg.

As the scales I use do body composition as well as weight, I thought I would have a look at what that is telling me as well. The results are somewhat expected. THey are all still trending downwards so that is definitely a positive.

Muscle Mass is down 1.5kg

Lean Body Mass is down 1.59kg

Body Fat Percentage is down 1.10%

I am still trying to be strict about Keto, and although I am doing ok at the moment, it is hard when you have 2 people that are not eating strictly keto. It also doesn't help that when you are out and about there are not many cost effective options for you to grab something to go.

I am not sure exactly what it was that made me not have any loss this week, but it is something that I am at peace with as I know that there will be weeks where I will struggle more than others. I am hoping that this week will be a better week for me and that I will be able to at least lose a little bit.

My goal for February is to lose 2kg, and so far I am up 600g, so watch this space as I bring myself back to what matters and recentre myself.
