The Struggle is Real

Who else has struggled this year?

I have really struggled with motivation to stay on track this year. While i know that i did great for a couple of months, i have just not been able to get back on track since my anniversary and then getting covid. 

I was hoping that I would be able to get back on track starting the beginning of April, but as yet I have not found the energy to stay on track and get back into my exercise. 

I am starting to wonder what I can do to help keep me accountable and keep me on track. I have got some ideas, but a lot of these involve having someone else helping me which I don't really want to do as I don't like to place my burden on someone else. This is something that I struggle with in all aspects of my life, so not something that I can just change overnight. 

I have also had a few people around me mention that they are having the same issue with finding a way to stay motivated and not knowing what they can do or what support they would like to help. So over the next few weeks I am going to experiment with myself on accountability methods and will let you know how I go. 

My first thought at the moment is to create myself a sticker chart (yes I know that is a childish thing) but I think having a visual chart showing how well I am doing or not doing will help me think more about what I am doing and make changes.
